We recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities. Every day, Shore Hotel is working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance from the CDC and WHO on hygiene and cleaning. Our hotel’s health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures.

Specific Steps that we are taking as a company

  • All employees of Shore Hotel are receiving regular training on our new cleaning protocols regarding COVID-19. Every member of our staff must strictly comply with these protective measures recommended by the CDC. These measures include hand hygiene, wearing masks around the property, and social distancing. In addition, we are currently having our security team conduct non-invasive temperature checks on all employees utilizing a thermal camera.
  • When you arrive at Shore Hotel, our Front Desk staff will thoroughly communicate all the new hygiene, health, and safety measures that are currently in place. This will allow our guests to move more seamlessly around the hotel, while assuring them that we are operating at the highest standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
  • We have made hand sanitizer available to all guests and employees, in touchless dispensers whenever possible. This has been placed in key places around the hotel, which include: lobby, elevator, pool, fitness center, valet parking area, as well as dining and event spaces.
  • Local government regulations currently require everyone coming into Shore Hotel to wear a face mask or cover. In order to protect our team members and the community during this time, we kindly ask that all guests and employees wear a face mask when entering or moving around in public areas around the hotel.
  • Social distancing is very important to us, and we ask all guests and employees to practice social distancing while at the hotel. This means standing at least 2m/6ft away from people they are not traveling with. We have made this easy by placing floor signage in all public areas.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing to once per hour in all public areas. We are focusing on all frequent contact surfaces such as the front desk counter, bell desk, elevators, elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, room keys, credit card machines, gym equipment, and all seating areas.
  • We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean all guest rooms.  We pay particular attention to all high-touch items inside of each room. All linen and laundry are replaced daily and washed at a high temperature.
  • Our meditation garden will observe social distancing and comply with local mandated occupancy limits. This area will also be sanitized once per hour and after each use.
  • In-room dining will continue to operate under strict measures to ensure your safety.
  • Our staff wears gloves and masks when cleaning all guest rooms, public areas, and all areas for employees.
  • We ask our guests and team members to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Always wash when removing gloves, using restrooms, starting or ending a shift, before eating, and after blowing one’s nose, sneezing, or coughing.
